HISTORY

Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember! As a child, I was always drawing and coloring, and by middle school, I had discovered my love for painting. My first job was with Painting with a Twist in Abilene, TX, where I started as an artist and instructor before moving into a management role while attending Abilene Christian University. Over the next five years, I worked at five different Painting with a Twist locations, taking advantage of the franchise’s transfer opportunities. Teaching classes and creating art for work has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

In the summer of 2021, my husband and I bought our first home, where I proudly display many of my pieces—and I’m always working on more! Since moving back to Temple, TX, I’ve continued sharing my love of art by teaching classes, painting murals, and creating commissioned pieces. I’m always striving to improve my skills and love helping others develop their own artistic abilities.

I’ve transformed my garage into a dedicated home studio, Sarah and Brushes, where I offer art classes and work on projects. My studio specializes in commissioned paintings, murals, digital artwork, and vinyl decals, providing creative and custom pieces for clients.
